Shielding the Waterfront From Strong Weather

All along the Marigot sea front, an “anti-swell” quay wall serves to absorb and minimize the loads of sea caused by the breaking of waves on the town’s infrastructures. This protective shield helps to reduce the risk of submersion of the backfilled platforms on which this entire area of Marigot is built, during bad weather.
