White fluffy, long-grain rice swell in red chunk gravy,
Minced red yellow peppers and chibble peeping out to sea,
Steaming aroma dancing gingerly, drunk with spice,
Fried Jackfish on deck; crusty edge clove guns capsize,
While the flamboyant ceramic ship sail to destiny…
Golden brown plantains, rafts clinging onto a thread of thyme,
Bay leaf jump ship, star anise ashore, revived with lime,
Choppy waters passed, turquoise tablecloth bay in sight,
Seasoned calaloo hills in breeze, crowned onion rings heights,
While the flamboyant ceramic ship sail to destiny…
